Winchell homebred ECHO AGAIN (Gun Runner) gets his career started for Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen. Produced by a stakes-placed half-sister to GISW Pyro (Pulpit), the 9-5 morning-line favorite is a half-brother to SW & GSP Pneumatic (Uncle Mo) and a full to SP Costa Terra, both winners at first asking. This same Gun Runner x Tapit cross is responsible for recent 'Rising Star' Disarm as well as last term's GII Adirondack S. heroine Wicked Halo, Monomoy Girl S. winner Society and Texas Turf Mile S. winner Red Run.

Good News Rocket (Runhappy) brought $700,000 from Frank Fletcher after breezing in :10 1/5 at Fasig-Tipton Gulfstream. The half-brother to GISW Tiz Miz Sue (Tiznow) and Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint winner Bulletin (City Zip) is trained by Hall of Famer Bill Mott.

The field of eight also includes fellow firsters: Classic Legacy (Into Mischief), a Bill Mott-trained half-brother to GISW Art Collector (Bernardini); and the Shug McGaughey-trained duo of Spinzar (Tapit) ($450,000 FTSAUG) and Game Change (Candy Ride {Arg}) ($850,000 KEESEP). TJCIS PPs

HEJAZI (Bernardini), the $3.55-million Fasig-Tipton Midlantic topper (:9 4/5), debuts for Zedan Racing Stables and Hall of Famer Bob Baffert. Bred in New York by Chester and Mary Broman, the dark bay is out of G Note (Medaglia d'Oro), a daughter of graded winner Seeking the Ante (Seeking the Gold) and half to multiple stakes winner Mineralogist (Mineshaft), as well as to the dam of this year's GII Rebel S. winner Un Ojo (Laoban). Hejazi fired a five-furlong bullet from the gate in :59 (1/56) at Del Mar Aug. 12. Hall of Famer Mike Smith rides. Baffert will also saddle $500,000 KEESEP graduate Nullarbor (Candy Ride {Arg}).
